Our Exciting Opportunity! We are now looking for a developer to design test environment hardware for performance verification of products. You are encouraged to be involved in all development activities, such as requirement analysis, test system design, impact analysis on existing hardware and proposals on optimization of existing solutions to meet high volume of multiband products coming up. Product life cycle management and documentation. The role also includes working with the deployment, planning & handling of 5 G OTA chamber systems ensuring that our 5 G OTA chamber system portfolio is optimized and fit for purpose. We work in multi-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is encouraged. The position reports to the Manager for Test Environment Section. You will, both in the conducted and OTA domain Perform continuous analysis and requirement Handling Perform hands-on integration and verification in lab environment Develop test systems for performance verification of products and test scripts to define signal paths Perform Link Budget Calculations Perform trouble shooting and customer support Continuously work in reviewing test system tender submissions and contribute in making recommendations to the organization Participate in test system deployments, both in Kista and other Ericsson sites, Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing proceedings Help maintain test system integrity Assist and participate in measurement trials including establishing Uncertainty in Measurement Be part of the development, implementation, and maintenance of the test system Strategy for the coming years ahead for measurement capability and preparedness; ensure that it is cost effective and cost efficient Deal with every-day challenges ensuring that we optimize our effectiveness and efficiency To be successful in the role you must have Degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering or similar Demonstrated ability to solve technically complex problems 5+ years of RF experience, knowledge of radio components such as power amplifiers, DCs, filters, switches, RF Cables etc Experience within OTA testing Knowledge in Product development knowledge, 3 GPP Specifications, OTA Radio Performance Requirements and Regulation and 4 G/5 G evolution Understanding of Uncertainty in Measurement Innovative, Adaptive and responding to change; an analytical approach and be result oriented with ability to deliver under pressure Highly self-motivated, self-driven and able to work independently Result-focused attitude and find it stimulating to work with organizational change and collaboration across the organization Excellent English skills both verbal & written and in handling relations Application The selection and interview process is ongoing, so send your application in English as soon as it is ready.
