We are based in the Science Park in Lund but work in closely with the best scientists in the world. https://www.oatly.com (https://www.oatly.com/) THE ROLE Grab the opportunity to join Oatly as Research and Administrative Assistant. You will work with the Head of Research to scope the potential of scientific opportunities and emerging innovations. You will also support the Food Science Team with administrative and operational duties relevant to research, including resource and knowledge management, procurement, IT and practical arrangements (e.g. organizing seminars, visitors, travel). WHO YOU ARE You are passionate about improving the health of humans and planet and the role that a balanced diet has a key role to play. You have a science background, but are interested in how science is applied in the real world. You also enjoy coordinating projects, including finding the best ways to organize resources and people to achieve the best outcome for the team. You have a demonstrated track record of working in a research environment within an academic or corporate research institution. You have a sharp and creative mind, with an analytical mindset to understand complex situations. You are organized and have attention to detail. You are good at adapting to new situations and make the most of opportunities. You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex science concepts to a range of audiences in both spoken and written forms. You are a supportive and inclusive team member. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS To thrive and be happy in this role, we believe that you have the following qualifications and experience: - Ph D in a Life Science related discipline (e.g. Food Science, Plant Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Nutrition). - A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a research environment (this period includes your Ph D research). - Working knowledge of research design and a range of methodologies. - Working knowledge of systematic searching for scientific literature in a range of databases and critical evaluation of scientific results. - Evidence of data handling skills, including data visualization and statistical analysis. Evidence of database building or maintenance is desirable. - Evidence of organizational and project management skills. - Proven record of scientific report writing. - Experience of project management and administration. - Evidence of working independently and in a team. - Fluent in English (oral and written).
