ROLE SUMMARY The purpose of the role is to lead, at a global level, our digital marketing and ecommerce efforts. Like many organisations the importance of digital marketing for Electrolux is continually increasing as our end consumers embrace digital channels and touchpoints. Similarly, buying behaviour is shifting online and we intend to have a strong ecommerce presence enabling consumers to buy direct from us as a manufacturer. We summarise the mission of this function as follows: Accelerate our consumer-centric transformation by developing and scaling data-driven marketing and e-commerce to drive brand & commercial growth This mission is accomplished in 3 key ways: · • Provide strategic guidance & expertise to ensure vision alignment and fast progress • Facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration to help BA’s achieve their specific ambitions • Drive commonalities across BAs ensuring adherence to best practices and capture synergies You will lead a team with operational management responsibility and also act as the functional leader for our 4 regions across the world: Europe, North America, APAC and LATAM (known as ‘Business Areas’ or BA’s). The role reports into our CMO and you will be part of the CMO leadership team helping to drive the marketing agenda for Electrolux globally. Your global team will play an important role engaging with our BA’s to help them achieve their objectives whether those are commercial, brand or people. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will lead on 6 distinct but related areas to deliver on a comprehensive digital marketing and ecommerce agenda: Acquisition Marketing: Enable a data & consumer-centric approach to drive effectiveness and efficiency of our media Conversion Marketing: Leverage digital marketing capabilities to aid product discovery, selection and purchase Loyalty Marketing: Deliver an engaging post-purchase experience in key digital touchpoints Consumer Data & Analytics: Enable a single consumer view to deliver personalised consumer experiences and analytics to guide strategy D2 C Ecommerce: Build & scale direct e-commerce channels, enabling a data- driven, distinct and consumer-first proposition Online Marketplaces (e.g. Amazon): Leverage and capitalize on key online ecommerce platforms and marketplaces across BA's In broad terms the primary aspects of the role will be as follows: People Management: Act as the people leader for the operational team holding weekly team meetings, 1-1’s with direct reports and following all HR processes (hiring, talent management, end of year reviews, annual objective setting etc) Team Strategy & Approach: Defining the forward looking strategy for the team and how the team delivers its agenda including prioritisation and approach with the BA’s Finance Management: Take responsibility for financial management of the team including budget planning, oversight and management Stakeholder Management: Attend key meetings on behalf of the team which could include marketing-specific meetings, cross functional meetings, BA meetings and with senior organization stakeholders (e.g. Ex CO or Board level) Project Strategic Guidance & Support: Provide strategic guidance and support for projects being initiated and delivered across all of the areas within the scope of the role The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, results-oriented team player that has a wealth of experience in both digital marketing & ecommerce, possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to think strategically and drive execution without direct authority. You’ll also have the stamina essential to delivering results in both the short and long term. · • Negotiator - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across by building strong interpersonal relationships. · • Fast learner – with the ability to adapt quickly in unfamiliar situations. · • Data driven – with strong analytical skills that form the basis of your decision making EDUCATION § University degree (MBA preferred) EXPERIENCE § At least 15+ years’ experience – preference is to have worked globally/internationally and have direct to consumer electronics experience § Worked in a B2 C marketing context for at least 5 years § In-depth experience of CE/appliances industry is a must § Direct to consumer ecommerce experience is essential § Experience across digital channels, media and traffic driving activities § Data driven measurement and consumer focused design experience is plus
