What we offer Service Technology operates in Volvo Cars Service Business, responsible for everything needed to service and repair a car. This responsibility goes all the way from product creation to implementation in the markets.  Our production content includes parts information, standard times, service information and repair methods. Main communication channel is through Vehicle Information & Diagnostics for Aftersales (VIDA). We also evaluate new production ideas, concepts, technology and commercial performance. What you will do As a developer you will work in an agile team with focus on electrical/high voltage vehicles. You will develop service & repair instructions used by service technicians globally. Predominantly you will spend most of the time in the office producing the repair information and when required use our internal workshop to validate and develop methods. Stay updated regarding changes in car projects and customer requirements, if needed, carry out changes in methods and method assessments. You contribute to increased customer satisfaction by motivating the workshops to follow correct repair instructions, including the use of Volvo Special tools.   You and your skills  To be successful in this role, you need to have High Voltage experience and technical knowledge, both general and vehicle specific.  You have experience from working as a service technician in a workshop (e.g. personal service technician or similar). You have bachelor’s degree or corresponding knowledge obtained by practical experience. You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Experience from agile way of working as well as using VIDA, TIE or similar systems could benefit you in this role, but it is not a necessity.  On a personal level For this position, you need to have a very good communication skills, curiousness and a personal eagerness to investigate, learn and drive for change to be able to accomplish results. You are driven and have a passion for continuous improvements in your daily work. A sense for good logic and structured way of working will be important in this role, as well as a high ability to work in teams, individually and multicultural.
