What we are looking for To be able to ensure the long-term competence supply and development Uniper Nuclear Sweden is now looking for a strategic minded Strategic Competence Lead to join the newly established Asset Strategy Nuclear function. The main responsibility of the department is to drive the overall strategic agenda for the nuclear portfolio at Uniper by leading and supporting several strategic initiatives. As our Strategic Competence Lead you will play an important role in the development and execution of Uniper nuclear business long-term competence supply strategy. In your role you will develop strategies and plans to build a strong brand that ensures current staffing and a future talent pipeline together with Uniper Sweden Employer Branding. By seeking and driving the various possibilities and opportunities you will support Uniper Nuclear impact to the decarbonization agenda in the Nordics. In addition, you will be a part of the strategic PMO supporting with systematic assessment of the performance and progress of the strategic portfolio. The position is placed in Malmö but other existing locations within Uniper may also be applicable. Your responsibilities will include: • Active participation in the Nuclear Sweden strategy implementation • Steer and drive strategical nuclear business development initiatives with special focus on competence supply • Assessment of effectiveness and performance of processes for long-term competence supply in the nuclear business • Challenge performance and support co-owned business regarding long-term competence and capability supply • Participation in networks as well as internal and external collaborations in the area of long-term competence supply • Ensure a coherent communication through Nuclear business • Support the assessment of the performance and progress of the strategic portfolio. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Who we are seeking You have a college or university degree, within a relevant subject such as HR, Business Administration, Engineering or similar that is significant to the role. You are an experienced Competence Manager and have experience in competence management as well as project management. Relevant experience within the energy sector and consulting is considered as an advantage. The role is set in an international environment, therefore you need to be fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office as well as a willingness to learn other business systems is required. To be successful in the role you have the willingness and ability to drive and challenge performance along with a strong analytical mindset. You have the ability to see the big picture and find a pragmatic approach while simultaneously being a strong team player. You also have a strong sense of accountability, personal drive and a high level of commercial awareness.
