ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • 10 year experience in leading other leaders and senior competences as well as developing new potentials and business. • Proven success in obtaining good results in managing a profitable business • Experience from Ideation, exploration and development to deployment • Proven track record of interdependent leadership - leading business agendas across IKEA and external stakeholders in a collaborative way and delivering results through others • Experience from leading and/or ordering large global projects • You are fluent in spoken and written English • And just as important, you are someone who would share and naturally reflect the IKEA values in your everyday work. You constantly seek better ways to inspire and clarify a vision and you get energized by the diversity in a fast-paced changing retail environment. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In the position New Retail Business Development Leader, your overall scope is to lead, deploy, accelerate and scale specified New Retail Business Development initiatives to create growth. You will drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged, and empowered. Key assignments in this role will be to: • Lead the specific new retail business initiative in connection to approved business and deployment case. • Lead the creation and establishment of clear go-to-market and acceleration/scaling plans. • Together with other functions, stakeholders and partners lead the continuous development and detailing of new business opportunities and how it supports to expand the business. • Identify relevant partners across industries for exploring opportunities and build long term business relations. • Lead development of complete competence need to deploy, scale and drive connected business initiative in our business landscape. • Lead establishment with relevant stakeholders of needed business and regulatory agreements to ensure business viability. ABOUT THIS WORK AREA About New Retail Business Development: The function ensures that new business opportunities can be developed, deployed, accelerated and scaled into the retail landscape into viable businesses and thereby creating new revenue opportunities. About New Retail Business Development Team: The New Retail Business Development team deploys, accelerates and scales specified New Retail Business Development initiatives to create growth.
