We are currently looking for a Transformation Consultant / Operational Excellence Expert to help build our Global Transformation Office and processes in our transformation journey. As Transformation Consultant / Operational Excellence Expert you translate Lean knowledge and experience into delivery of business opportunities that add value and reduce waste. Reporting to the Global Head of Process Excellence, this role is responsible for supporting the deployment and implementation of Lean principles within all aspects of the Telia Company This is a key role with the accountability to ensure our transformation is delivered. As our Operational Excellence Expert you will be responsible for supporting the setting and execution of the overall lean strategy for Telia Company as well as applying and coaching on lean principles and tools to support delivery of the continuous improvement plans of the internal TC teams and strategic external suppliers from within the TC commercial supply chain to deliver tangible business benefit across multiple brands. Your role includes: Coach and support Functional Extended Leadership teams to develop strategic and annual improvement plans that deliver required uplift in customer experience, reduction of complexity, process digitization and business value Coach to develop effective scorecard, policy deployment and PDCA review process to drive execution, taking shared accountability for benefit delivery. Provide necessary coaching and deliver/organize Lean training as required to ensure colleagues build and maintain the required levels of Lean competence. Mentor to emerging Lean specialists. Support prioritized end-to-end processes through the assessment of process capability, the identification of improvement plans and support process owners in the ongoing management of performance of process, including involvement in on-site problem solving and issue resolution activities as appropriate. Lead end-to-end process x-ray sprints (process analysis), working with different tools help process owners to identify and remove waste from end-to-end value chains, including with external suppliers. Is this you? As the Operational Excellence Expert you provide outstanding training, coaching, support and technical leadership to global, regional and local teams in support of their Lean implementation. Skilled in change leadership, you need to possess significant application experience of Lean principles, processes, tools, behaviors & leadership as well as a comprehensive understanding of how Lean principles, systems and tools are applied to the business as well as deep functional experience in one or more areas. Confident to coach and train senior leaders within Telia Company and key suppliers. It is key to be able to support in setting a clear strategic direction and influence at senior levels and support practical delivery of the plan at a team level. An ability to work through a matrix organization and a clear understanding of the complexities of working with external suppliers is critical. Your skills and experience Educated to MSc level in Economics, Engineering, or related technical/business discipline A track record of delivering business impact and sustained change through Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs with deep expertise in process, project and change management Experience of Value Stream Mapping of complex end to end supply chains and value streams, including internally and externally managed process activities via partners or outsourcing. Experience of working with process analytics tools such as task and process mining and data visualization Experience of working collaboratively with geographically dispersed cross functional teams and building key networks across functions and regions Interacting with all levels of the business (shop floor to senior leader) & understanding of multi-site and multi-organization challenges and how Lean principles support & drive continuous improvement Experience of Business Process Management and Improvement programs, including process mapping, the identification and elimination of waste, use of standards and standard work and defining and measuring process effectiveness to ensure delivery of business objectives. As a plus Six Sigma (or Lean Six Sigma) Black Belt certification and/or certification from an accredited external Quality program. Interested? If you fancy joining our team, don’t hesitate to apply!
