R&D Manager, Software Development
As one of a team of R&D Managers you will provide strong and capable technical and people leadership to the wider R&D Organization and will foster and promote a corporate culture of collaboration, growth, innovation, trust, and respect as well as excellence in quality, and strong customer focus. The Leader will be responsible for the total output of the R&D organization and the timely execution-delivery of all committed features including the integration of a larger ecosystem of Application-portfolio. Responsibilities: Influence the technical direction of the product development according to the company's strategy Lead and effectively manage Teams in Sweden and abroad in an effective, people-centric, collaborative, and open manner Effectively, and on time, execute Mitel people-related processes Take practical steps to ensure the Sweden R&D Teams are engaged and motivated Provide training opportunities for the Sweden R&D Teams Communicate clearly and with precision to senior executives Communicate with other functional teams frequently, collaboratively, and openly Monitor the development team's progress via regular project reviews and more detailed reviews Requirements: University degree (minimum bachelor's degree) in Engineering / Computer Science, Telecommunication or other relevant fields Experience and knowledge of Telecom and Unified Communications Relevant experience of proven management experience in product development Excellent analytical skills resulting in clear and concise explanations of observations and problems Ability to drive change in an environment in constant evolution Some years of experience working in an AGILE way Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal Additional Skills (Advantageous): Optional Experience with software development and cloud environment is a plus Experience and / or certificate in AGILE way of working (ie SAFe Agile) is a plus Knowledge / experience of competitive UC / UCaa S products is a plus Proven track record of successful leadership Ability to engage and motivate employees Capability to lead culture adoption and change Strong comprehensive experience in risk and issue management As a person you are: Capable to comply with and adopt the company's strategies and core values Constant Learning Culture practitioner A standout teammate, with excellent interpersonal skills, working for team success without personal prestige Outgoing and willing to collaborate across teams and organizational boundaries Proactive, like challenges and want to constantly improve Inclusive and servant leader with the ability to contribute to the company's vision Able to transfer knowledge to younger team members
