Would you like to work with a strong brand and be a key member of one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies?  We are looking for talented and passionate Embedded Software Engineers to join our R&D team. This team is responsible for designing and delivering the products that are shipped by the millions each year to live in our customer’s home and small business. Our Global R&D team works on a diverse range of products and technology including intelligent camera systems, battery sipping security sensors, advanced access control solutions, bespoke user interface devices and the Verisure Central Unit which acts as the “brain” of the system enabling communications between all devices and the Verisure backend. As an embedded SW engineer, you will have a chance to work on Linux and RTOS based products depending on your interests and background. Given the diverse product range this team develops, you’ll also have opportunity learn and build your expertise. As we are a global company with multiple R&D centers and suppliers worldwide, some travel may be required. Come join us! Core Tasks: * Creation of embedded software that runs Linux and/or RTOS devices * Detailed design of interfaces between different SW components & devices * Optimize and carefully balance power and speed in all aspects * Optimizing software design for security Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years of experience as software engineer working on Linux or RTOS * Expert knowledge in C * Experience in debugging embedded systems with JTAG and GDB * Experience using git for development * Good analytical skills * Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Python * Experience agile methodology * Experience in JAVA Who you are: We are looking for you who are passionate about programming and find joy when digging deep in embedded C problems.
