CORNER POINTS Fluent Swedish speaker! Support and update customers and keep constant dialogue with retailers Part- or full-time 6 months ABOUT PANPRICES Few people are aware of the fact that 8 out of 10 Swedes have tried shopping online from abroad even though consumers today face many hurdles when shopping cross-border. This is one of the factors explaining why currently only 25% of the total e-commerce purchase volume stems from cross-border transactions. At Panprices, we aim to tackle this untapped market by creating a hybrid marketplace that enables consumers to discover products, compare prices from retailers all across Europe, and check out directly at up to 25% cheaper than in Sweden. Panprices is a funded startup initially incubated by Sting and Stockholm School of Economics Business Lab and now backed by some of Sweden’s largest private investors with experience as founders and early investors in Fyndiq, Tradera (acquired by e Bay), Home24, Payson, and Double Click (acquired by Google). WHO WE ARE We are a strong founding team who between us have scaled startups to a combined value of over a quarter billion dollars. Tom Dickson was a founding team member of the Swedish consumer internet phenomenon Kivra. Don Truong previously co-founded an e-learning platform that he scaled to the top 4 globally in its segment. Nathalie Minder has a background in the music industry where she worked with some of the biggest artists of our time and helped many of them reach platinum status. Panprices' fourth co-founder and Chairman of the Board Magnus Agervald co-founded and sold Icomera, which reached a revenue of $50 M, and later served as the CEO of Byggmax, Ratos, and Webhallen. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR After having succeeded in our initial niche, we are growing rapidly in different areas. Therefore, we need you who is passionate about operations and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers. We are looking for the following qualities: Fluent Swedish and English speaker! More (Nordic) languages are a plus! Eager to learn the ropes of working in a startup at the front. Great communication skills in both writing and speech (in Swedish). Structured way of working. Good at juggling multiple tasks at once. Good at prioritizing tasks and does not get overwhelmed when working under pressure. Self-driven, proactive, can take ownership and work independently. Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a steep learning curve. Love working in a dynamic team and with people in general. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH You will join our operations team with the #1 priority to ensure a great customer experience. This entails the following: Responding to all customer inquiries and convert interest into sales. Handle communication with retailers and follow up on order status and returns. Proactively inform customers about their orders and ask for feedback. Handle additional operational and administrative tasks such as creating and sending out receipts, updating prices or managing our customer database and order management system. .. and much more!
